simple: You login to a server, and you use a mic to talk to other people through your ip over the internet. You can hear them too. It works in teh background while playing games.

Press the "B" button to speak to your teammates or press the "V" button to speak to the commander in case you are a TL.

Original Poster: Just download it, go to "Quick Connect", and type in the IP of the server you want to go to, then fill in the name you want to use, an leave everything else blank. Click "Connect" and you're in. You can set up a puch to talk key by going to "Settings > Sound Input/Output Settings".

That for ingame voip, he's asking about TeamSpeak.

You have to DL TeamSpeak...www.goteamspeak.com and then install. Open and enter the IP and if needed password for the TS server you wish to join, as many BF2 servers use it, a login name, etc, and go.
