Game Controller

Hello all,

I have recently purchased a Game Controller that is used for Console though it is for PC gaming. Also i have looked in the search on totalbf2 and there is no real instruction on how to change things over once you are in the game under option. Can someone explain it in English terms please? LOL

Umm? You mean you have installed the controller correctly and you have "calibrated" it in Windows and all? And your just wondering how to set keys for BF2?

Same way you would for your keyboard/mouse or any other joystick..go to the control config screen, double click in a bind box beside the action you wish to bind and then press the controller button you want to bind it to. Don't forget to hit 'Apply' when you're done.

I ONLY recommend you use a game controller for jets, and helos (and even then I don't recommend using a gamepad controller at ALL)..so if you want to control infantry using a gamepad, then maybe you should stick with your GameCube or whatever.

Ok, ill do all that stuff. I only want to use the controller for jets and helos no infantry. Ill check and see and get back to you all.

Yes, i have configured in windows only needed to figure how to do it in BF@ Controls.
