Crashing to Desktop

it displays the splash screen.

then goes to a black screen, kinda switches video modes, displays another black screen, then crashes back to desktop

no error message or anything.

p4 2.8ghz w/ HT
768mb ram.

Already did all of them. Updated everything. Reinstalled game.

Should be a BIOS option, I haven't owned an Intel for years so I couldn't tell you exactly how.

well, I don't see what the big problem could be like.


I can't get BF2 to load at all. i get nothing past the splash screen.

same here... EA nvidia BF 2 ATI and patch put all together is deep sad

I switched from my 256mb X850 Pro to my 128mb Radeon 9800 Pro SE and it worked... so wtf... i want to use my better effin card to play.
