Battlefield 2 doesnt like 6.1 drivers ??

I get higher 3dmark scores with the new ati 6.1 driver but battlefield is doing sh!t... it doesnt give a performance boost in battlefield and my keyboard is inresponsive... anyone else with this problem ? im probably the only one :P

For me it increased the performance... And I have X850XT and you have X850XTPE, maybe that's up to the rest of the rig? Or ATI just "fixed" my card and ****ed it up with yours? :)

I got increased performance, went from running in medium to high.

Any other issues rather than the keyboard being unresponsive?

mine didnt install. lol. im using Omega 6.1 drivers now. Perfomance boost.

fixed it !!! woohoo i went to audio settings because when my keyboard stopped responding my computer gave a beep... apparently i accidentaly put eax sound on and that's what was causing it... pfieuw thank you ati :) and i got a 6824 3dmark05 score ! LOOL

The drivers work great in BF2. And so do the Omegas and the Extreme ATI drivers. The funny think about this first post by redearedslider is that he blames his keyboard on video drivers........ and i am just confused on how do these drivers do not like BF2??

sigh.... it was sort of a laggish inresponsiveness that i didnt experience with earlier drivers... and since my keyboard worked fine in other games and on desktop it had to be the driver.. so i got lag in the game and the keyboard didnt respond because of that but it was the eax sound...

Video drivers are not the cause of your keyboard issues.

YES I KNOW THAT IT'S DOING PERFECT NOW ON THE 6.1 DRIVER.... BUT YOU GOT TO READ... it was sort of a lag in which my keyboard didnt respond and it started when i installed the 6.1 driver... but it turned out to be the eax so it wasnt the driver :) you see !?
