Exe. not Exe. ing anymore.... Help!!

Thanks for looking. This is a new and weird one to me. Game has been absolutely fine. Now tonight as i was preparing for a session the damn thing wont run. I click on the desktop shortcut and nothing happens. I go into the game folder and track down the game exe. d/click on it and nothing happens. What the eff is going on!? I reinstalled the lot and still it is the same. For the love of sanity please help.

system P4 3.4 / 1gig D/C 3200 / Radeon 9800 Pro / Audigy 2 / 160 gig SATA Raid 0. XP Pro SP 2.

Special Forces installed.

Also, have just tried the Server Launche exe. and that is working fine...

is it named bf2.exe? if it isnt then name it that and see if it works.

It was just named BF2 not bf2.exe. I changed it to BF2.exe but still the same thing happens i.e. nothing.
