Well... not accidently..
But I have gone out of my way to get under one of those BEASTS.
The Adrenine was PUMPING!! Supply Drops make BF2 Great.

Many times I drop supplies on enemies or idle players, its very fun :)

and it's easy to do too!
I don't really remember the exact place to aim, but I thought it went like this:
(for someone standing on the ground)
place your supply icon directly above the victim, move it to the north 2x the length of the supplydrop-icon, and 1x to the left. That should work all the time.

(for someone on a building or hill)
If someone is in a high place (like snipers often are) the supplydrop has a shorter distance to drop, and therefor moves less horizontally. So for high buildings it was something like 1x to the north and 0,5 to the left. Everything in between is a bit on estimation.


note: these figures could be a bit off, I haven't done it in a long time.
practise in SP for the exact figures. Just remember that the supplydrop ALWAYS drops the same way, so use that knowledge

Not been killed by one yet but had one dropped onto our location on Sweep only to have it land on the back of an enemy tank attacking us.

We desperately needed that drop and the tank was getting constant healing and constant ammo refills as it mowed us down.

Was comical to watch.... a bit :)

Saw some guy in front of me getting hit by one a couple days ago..
