Info on new ranks in next patch.

Ok, so we know we are getting some new ranks. Does anyone know what they are? How about what the global points needed will be?

I honestly hope they tone down the spread in points needed for ranks. It always seemed crazy to me that I would rank up at 50k, then have to get another 150k for the next rank?

Anyway, any info would be appreicated.

They said that they are redoing the ranking system.
It's not clear yet as to what extent those changes are going to be.

I second that. I remember in the october patch when I went up three ranks. I've worked my ass off so far trying to get First Sgt, but I like the way it is now. More challenging. I hope to see at least a 50-100k gap between enlisted ranks, and officer ranks though.

ok, i've said this before. the new ranks are from 1st LT through I guess 5 star general...which is inaccurate because the US Marines do not have a 5 star general rank! they only go to 4 star general.

Anyway, you guys this its bad, I jumped 4 ranks the last time they redid the ranks, and I was also screwed out of 1st sgt by a bug that they fixed a week after releasing the patch. Oh so sorry though for those that were affected, you wont be promoted. Anyway, I've been working just to get to sgt major (when the patch came out, i had just over 20,000)...and now I am about 5000 points away from it. I just want to make sgt major...I dont want to jump 5 ranks again!! lol. I remember I just wanted to make it to gunnery sgt so I could call myself "gunny" (back when it was like 75K points for that rank)...I was a "gunny" for less than a second as I killed 2 guys in a row and by passed it...

I dont know how the gap between the ranks will be, but I assume that all the officer ranks will be lowered...they do have to fit in 10 new ranks somewhere, and to leave the system the way it is now would mean making the rank of general like at 5 million points...how fun

I liked the adjust last time. I think they should make another one but it shouldnt be as drasti...maybe a few 1000 points here and there but nothign too major..like you guys said..not challenging enough

i would like to see them lower the difference in the higher rankes because 150k seems insane after 50k

Reckon they will add the Warrant Officer Ranks in a later patch?! LOL...... Just more ranks to attain!

Yea, what happened to Sgt. Major of the Corps????? has anyone been promoted to that?
