    Which gun?

Ok, i did search the forum, but i couldnt find anyone who was in the same situation as i am:

I have an unlock, and i'm going to buy the BF2:SF when i get the money (and euro force, but SF first)

First question: What exactly happens when i get BF2:SF?
    One person said i get 2 unlocks. Another said i get 4. Another said i get 1 bf2 and 1 bf2:sf unlock.
    Which is it?

Second: I already have the G36...uhh.. the one for SF, and the M95 (sniper).
I really like the F2000 and the G3 and the L85 and the SCAR-L...any others i should be interested in? and what do you guys think i should grab? Should i save any of my unlocks for Euro Force? I probbably wont get it until late febuary/early march...
Also, i have just over 2500 global points, so my next unlock isnt until 5000, which i'll probbably be able to make before the end of febuary...

PS: my favorite kit is Medic, and sometimes SF, when the job calls for it, but i'm good with assault when i'm actually on the assaulting team (like on karkland or sharqui)

        Re: Which gun?

what happens is, when you install SF and blah blah, you get two unlocks. Now, with SF there are two sets of unlocks, the first set, and the second. The only way to unlock guns from the second set is to unlock their first set counter part first. So you get two unlocks, if you unlocked the first gun of the set, you can get the second, or w/e. These new second set unlocks can only be used in vanilla though, the only unlocked guns you can play with in SF is the first set.
The game is worth the 30$ tottaly and is very fun, if this post didnt help, when you get the game you will see for yourself how it works. have fun!

k- so i this is my understanding, for a kit you unlock it like this:
            Stock Gun>BF2 Unlock> BF2:SF unlock 1> BF2:SF unlock 2?

and i just get 2 unlocks for w/e?

and what is a vanilla...whatever? i've heard of it before but never known what it is. Also, does anyone know which kit the P90 is for (in euro force)?

Stock gun, stock unlock, SF unlock. That's how it goes. And by the way, you get 3 unlocks once you score a point that gets saved (that means finish a map) in Special Forces.

As for the P90, I imagine it'd be for the anti-tank class seeing as how it's an SMG and all.

woah! so i get 2 when i install it, then i get 3 more when i finish a map?

what do you mean wrangler? i'm trying to decide which gun to unlock, so stock guns are already unlocked...

btw, are there any servers with all guns already unlocked or something? if so, how do i find them (for seeing which one i like)

also: what happens when i get the euro force thing? do i get more unlocks then too?

                      Re: Which gun?

No. You only get 3 unlocks. Here, I'll clarify it a bit better for you....

Stock gun -> Vanilla unlock -> SF unlock
As far as I know you won't get any unlocks when you purchase Euro Force.

As for servers that unlock everything, EA blocks any server that tries to allow all unlocks from being listed on their master server.

                        Re: Which gun?

I only got one unlock when I played SF, so I picked PKM, so maybe it unlocked the G36E, I just haven't played on a ranked bf2 server yet.

What did you mean "that means finish a map?" Are you saying that if you do not finish the map, you don't get the points???

Oh, and for the other posters that told the OP to put this in the Battlefield 2 General Discussion forum, are you mad? This is absolutely a question about Special Forces. Am I missing something?

That's exactly what I'm saying :) Stats only get updated at the end of the map. They aren't live-updated every time you score a point. You know how much bandwidth and server processing power that would waste? :)

What is a vanilla unlock or a vanilla server? i've heard lots'a stuff about vanilla stuff, but i dont know what it is...I like vanilla ice-cream if that counts for anything :)
