Spawn Screen Probs

Hi all,

about two days ago went to play BF2, logged in, selected server, loaded game as usual, but this time was different, when I got to spawn screen nothing happened, could see and hear the battle going on behind the spawn map and weapon select tab, but couldnt select a spawn point or weapon as my mouse cursor wouldnt move ????

Had to quit using ALT F4 and has done it ever since ???

Any ideas??? as i said, worked fine till bout 2 days ago, have changed nothing and Ea are useless with their advice

heres waht i have heard from other ppl and me:
either an overheating issue (unlikely in winter)
or try this: go into options and controls and apply default (i heard that sometimes bf2 erases ur control settings)
