It isn't just for battlefield 2. This will happen about every 10 minutes. My cursor will just shoot to some random point on the monitor. It isn't the mouse because I tried 2 different mouses and they both work fine on my other computer. So it must be some setting. How do I fix this?

it can be numerous things, the laser, your settings, the driver. But for me, I found the problem was my mousepad! Believe it or not, my mousepad was designed for rollerball mouses and doesnt work well with laser ones, so my mouse would fly around the screen etc. sometimes. Try a different mousepad (the one on your other computer) and see if its better.Comment

yeah my mouse would do that when i had a light colored mouse pad, switched to black and it works fine. and yes, i know you said you tired it on the other computer but i dont know if you use the same mousing surface.
btw light colored mouse pad = my desk and black mouse pad = a piece of black posterboard i wonder sometimes if getting an actual mouse pad would make any differenceComment
