Saitek X52 Joystick Help

Hey I just got the X52, and I was wondering what is the matter with my Joystick. It worked the first time I used it. But now it all lights up, but no response to movement when in the plane. I might have settings problems, so if anyone with this joystick could help me, that would be very much appreciated.

sorry i have a previous satiek and it works like a charm it might be a lemon or do you americans only use lemon for cars

Go the latest drivers?
I have the Saitek Evo force, and had to update my drivers through microsoft update.
I hope you didn't get the X52 just for BF2...

BF2 ocasionaly goes stupid. What to do is this. First do not load any profile for the stick, load up BF2 and reset your controls to there default, then setup up your controls useing the in-game control options (not the x52 profiler)
