ok, so i jsut started trying to get my rank up on bf2, i only just relised you had to be on a ranked server, so i went to the mulipayer screen, selectd ranked and same verion only in the filter, and only one server came up, is that right there has to be more, and it can only take 16players?
Yeah, you are on vanilla vanilla BF2. People that own though ranked servers have upgraded to the 1.12 patch thus the servers are 1.12 standard therefore you have to have the 1.12 patch. Go to BF2 official site on EA.com and download it.
