New maps

I'm gettin' a bit bored of the few maps that there are ..why cant maps that someone has made be on ranked servers???..couldnt they be submitted to EA for approval and then put out as a map pack or sommat

..

Yeah, we need more FREE maps like Wake. Mahoni Island from 1942 would be great fun :p

I agree.
A map like Elalamain for big armour battles Iam talking 32 tanks and 32 APC's on each side plus jeeps and tows. With each team having 1 uncappable base each and maybe 2 cappables closer to the action, it's got to be BIG though like a flat Kubra dam doubled.
1 like Battle of Britain to with a lot of planes so theres no waiting or TKers for them.

Discussed a million times already.

It isn't as easy as you make it sound you know. It probably could be done but it's likely that taking someone elses map and working on it to make sure that it's ok for a ranked map may take longer than starting from scratch (can a mapper confirm this?)

People make custom maps that surpass official maps for games and theyre not paid and dont have full teams doing it, stop making excuses for Dice. If their goal wasnt to create as many expansions as possible we would see custom maps on ranked servers and free official maps.

I've played both TotalBF2 map packs and believe that none *surpass* the DiCE maps.
The problem is getting them right for a ranked server, which are properly balanced, not just making them pretty.

I dont think many of the maps in this game are balanced as it is.

even if they approved /bought out a couple o maps a month for free i think this would liven up the game somewhat...I find it gets a little stale the same maps over and over again...and we all probably only have 3 or 4 that we really like...I like the ones where its bright n sunny (dark wet cold n miserable here )...after big albino cigar its like Im on my summer holidays with a big gun..

I dont think many of the maps in this game are balanced as it is.

I think it's the teams that's not ballanced, for example, on Wake sometimes US crushes china with over 150 - 0 and sometimes the opposite.

YES We do need new maps. The only ones that I still enjoy being a medic on; Sharqai, Gulf, Wake and Strike at Karkand

more free maps would be great but considering the next patch is comin soon we will most likeley have to wait oh say 10 months for one new plane whore map *coughwakecough*

The maps are balanced, like Seal said said it's the teams that aren't. Most servers I play I can see most of the more experienced players bunch together in one group of players and nearly always crush the other less experienced team.
