I was on wake, I went downstairs on the carrier saw some dude in a boat upside down, so I shot one bullet at him then went back upstairs then arty hit the carrier, I thought it was from that but no...

I constantly got team vehicle damage, my score kept going down and down every second untill I had -30 then I left the server.


The thing that I dont get is if I was getting the damage penalty it should have only happened once, and if I damaged it so much how come he didnt die?

maybe he was repairing the boat constantly , and you got to pay the bill

Hmm never seen or heard about this before. Though it sounds similar to if you shoot at an enemy and then they crash shortly afterwards you get awarded with the kill. Maybe this can also be done in reverse. You shot the boat and possibly he was repairing it, for what reason other than to stat pad and get expert repair who knows and because it was getting constantly damaged you kept getting the team vehicle damage counting against you.

I think it must be to do with the fact he was underwater and thus he was taking health damage and he must have been a medic and it took it as if I hurt him.

But its ********, I had -30 in less than 20 seconds.

I had to quit really quick, I dont want to end up being demoted to first sergeant...

Yep, happened to me once, hit it with a stray MEC helo shell\cannon bullet, and ended up with -45 before I noticed and blew it up.

He would have been solo stat padding, i won't explain anymore but next time you see an upside down boat around the carrier i'd take the -4 points and team kill him.
