Hit "~" to bring up the console.

Then, type:

renderer.drawfps 1

Hit return and it will show up in the upper-left corner.

"renderer.drawfps 1" - to show fps.

"renderer.drawfps 0" - to make it go away.

renderer.drawFps [0,1] - Displays the current frames per second (FPS) and the time in milliseconds between frames.

Just for clarification, because I know you'll ask, the FPS count is the number on the LEFT. Nobody knows what the number on the RIGHT is for certain, but the most common belief is that it represents the system process % that BF2 is currently using up.

you can also use fraps, free download at www.fraps.com good prog, doesn't use much system pow3r
