WIRELESS ROUTER--Dedicated server

Hey guys, I had been running a dedicated server for like 3 days and my friends and I had been playing in it with no problem at all. Now, I setup a wireless router to allow my sister's computer to get the internet. The problem is that nobody can join my server anymore. I heard it's something with the ports, I have no idea where that is. Can someone help me out and fix this?? I also noticed my IP Address had changed. I knew it would change, but I have no idea why they can't join.

In the old (working) situation whenever your friends used your IP address they ended up connecting directly to your computer.

In the new situation they end up connecting to your router, and the router does not know what to do with it.

So the solution is to tell the router what to do. This is called port forwarding.
You can think of ports as an extra identifier on top of your ip address.

The manual of the router should have a section about port forwarding. In there you tell which ports should be forwarded to your computer that runs the server. The actual port numbers that you need to forward are in the manual I think (or you probably can find it in this forum)
