    Amd Fx60

Hey Folks- I got my FX60 Processor today, installed and up and running. In my efforts to get a dual core FX57, i managed a simple overclock to get it running at 2.9 on air. i did 207 x 14 with a voltage of 1.4. I might try to go higher but for now i hit the goal of getting the core speed to FX57ish. im idling at 38 C and load is between 51-55 C. I hope this helps anyone interested in purchasing or overclocking this bad boy.

    specs:
DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI DR (11/14/05 BIOS)
    AMD FX60 @ 2.9 (using Zalman cnps9500led HSF)
    2 GB Mushkin PC3200
    2 x XFX 7800GTX
    Soundblaster X-FI

Hey Darksniper thanks, I have a dell 20 inch widescreen, so i use "+szx 1680 +szy 1050" in the desktop shortcut to get it to fill the screen. 1680x1050 i still get smooth gameplay. I am not sure how to check the FPS in game tho.

        How much did it cost?

Typical as it is, I paid the same amount for my 57 about a month ago. Oh, the joy of buying the fastest stuff only to see it beat both in price and performance a couple of weeks later :p

                    renderer.drawfps 1 in the Console mate (`)

then renderer.drawfps 0 to get rid of it

But how stable is it? it needs to be rock solid stable or what is the point?

Try your PC in 3Dmark06. You'll probably get around 8000.

if you got 4112 with the default settings that dosent seem right since your cpu blows mine out of the water plus you have another gtx and i got around 3000

hey KFJ- i was surprised at the results as well. 3dmark06 is still fairly new, so im really not sure what a good number is yet. Berrern got 3579 with his fx57. so with his rig and mine being so similiar i think my score is about right.
