What's the best kit in BF2 and why???

I don't know about "best", but the most versatile kit is probably the spec ops class, since it can deal with infantry quite proficiently (accurate weaponry), as well as armour (C4).

I saw the most versatile is Anti-Tank w/ DAO unlock. Shotgun for close combat, pistol for medium, and rocket for long range. It can deal with any threat (infantry, tanks, helis, transports) quickly and even has extra armor to boot. One shot kill with the rocket for infantry and the rocket is even guided. Whenever I'm in trouble I spawn as Anti-Tank and the problem quickly goes away.

I think it's down to personal preference. There isn't really one kit that is better than others in my opinion. However I think a lot of people will say medic, you can gain a lot of points and the upgraded gun is very accurate.

Probably Anti-Tank or Spec Ops (with the unlocks). The Anti-Tank's DAO is the best short range weapon, and the rocket launcher is the only one-shot kill sniper rifle in the game, with the added bonus of shooting down helis, planes on the runway, and any ground vehicle you come up against. Spec-Ops is also a very good kit, with the best all-around weapon, the G36C, and C4. The C4 is actually much better than Anti-Tank in close encounters with tanks/APCs, and can be attached to a fast vehicle to ram and destroy tanks. It is also very good for traps, as it cant be blown up, and has huge damage radius.

i think medic in terms of getting points the fastest
spec ops stands a strong chance w/ the c4 and good gun
AT also very good w/DAO

The m95 is an awesome 1 shot/kill gun ...if you get the hang of it.
