Why there is an Airborne specialist ribbon in SF, if there are NO planes in SF.


Is this the ribbon for Euro Force, or what? :hmm:

Do someone know how to get it?

I'm not an expert in the ribbons/medals, but the Airborne ribbon (in vBF2 anyway) just requires you to remain airborn(e) for ten or more seconds with the parachute deployed. (I'm not sure about the "specialist" part.)

Can't this be done on Warlord when you parachute in at the southern SAS base? <shrug>

If not, then it's probably just an oversight. I think there are a couple of other ribbons/medals that aren't actually achievable in SF. Don't worry about it.

there is no paracute ribbon in SF its the plane one which doesnt exist lol, i dont think it will be fixed with the boosters becuase those are integrated with vinallia. maby they will add one map on like with wake island for free to get the jet ribbon.

And also, how are you smugly certain? Just like people who have been whining about the Aerial Service ribbon were proven wrong yesterday (in DICE's Q&A), you could be wrong, too.

How is it possible to receive the Aerial Service Ribbon in Special Forces when no aircrafts are included?

You should be getting aerial service points for helicopter usage as well. If you are not, then this is an issue that we have not been made aware of.

No need to refer to an article from a Dice PR guy, you can NOT get it in SF. All you have to do is open the game files and look. I have posted them here somewhere before, and you can not get it from a helicopter.

This posts already else where and this should go in bugs. For the ribbon you need a jet, it doesnt work with helicopters.
