Be careful!!! The EADownloader is very small. The 1.5GB you are seeing is the app you downloaded. Before you do anything do this:
Backup SF source files which are in: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\"yourusernamehere"\eagamesbf2-2006online_contentbf2-ep1
Backup 2 files in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\"yourusernamehere"\
#1 - eagamesbf2-2006online_contentbf2-ep1.eam
#2 - eagamesbf2-2006online_contentbf2-ep1-patch.eam
IF you ever need to reinstall SF you will need to reinstall EADownloader and copy the sourcefiles back in from your CD and overwrite (if they exist) the 2 other files. Then you can reinstall. If you don't do all this then when you go to reinstall it will tell you the source is bad or SN missing/invalid.
Only delete the whole thing if you have no plans to ever reinstall the game. This whole process is dumb but its the only way if you bought the download version. Trust me, after a HD crash I tried it all to get SF working again. This procedure worked.
