Need new joystick. Now. & AA-missle question

I really need a new joystick. Now.

I can't even keep the F-35 stable when taking off! Managed to flip it and crash into the water 2 out of 3 times. Never had that much problem before. Better get a new joystick or else I'd be stuck at flying Blackhawks. Only aircraft that does work with the joystick.

I'd take any joystick that have the same or better features as the Logitech Exreme 3D Pro. I want to be able to fly for a few hours without the joystick become uncomfortable.

I fly Flight Simulator 2004 too, so a joystick that works well in that game to would be nice. I don't think I can land in that game right now because I fly sorta sideways when on approach.

    ---

    A question:
Do 2 types of AA missle exist?
After flying quite a lot in this game I've think I have encountered one that everybody knows about that can't make any sharp turns. The other one is a missle that follows you perfectly as it can take as sharp turns as the aircraft your flying in. What's up with that?

If you fly FS9 like you say you do then I sugest you defenetly get the X52 its one of the best sticks you can get and its not very expensive.

The logitech extreme 3D pro....(or similar name)

Nice feel...programable....has a rudder control by twisting the stick.

Helps you line up with runways.

I hear enough good things about it that I will purchase it.

          pretty inexpensive too.

          ALSO COMES WIRELESS

I thought the EXACT same thing about 7 days ago. in a round i got shot down a few times with missiles. i was like "wtf" at the time, then got into a dogfight with someone thought no way my mssiles are gonna hit him, fired 2 off and they followed him perfectly while he was banking and killed him. this was on an EAUK ranked server. anyone know if ea or whoever may have changed something?

Re: Need new joystick. Now. & AA-missle question

Eden: Thanks, will check it out. I'm thinking about that and the HOTAS Cougar.

CheckSando: DO NOT buy the Logitech. It is the worst joystick ever produced. Within a few weeks/months you will most likely get the same problems as I have. Just check Logitech's own forums, and you'll see that nearly all posts about the joysticks is about this problem.

Ravencdf: Maybe the misslies that hit a target are these "perfect" missiles, all others that are fired don't follow the target as good.
I'm guessing DICE did something to favor the "perfect" missile coding in 1.2 and making nearly all missiles be the "perfect" ones (maybe swapped the ratio? Instead of 90% dumb and 10% good, maybe 10% dumb and 90% good). I can understand why the alpha testers complain about how good they are.

Logitech attack 3, excellent joystick, very cheap and is fantastic for flying. Definetly a winner.

I have to agree there, logitect make really bad joysticks. If anyone want to get a joystick go for a saitek or a CH joystick < probably the best around.

Saitek X52 is the only joystick which I liked so far. I almost tried every possible available model in the matket. This joystick is by far the best joystick I ever tried. Worth the money definitly.

I have to say I love my x52, Ive even got an eject button for BF2 setup. Basically a button for exit then the same button to open the parachute.

I dont know. Its sorta like the X45 I had, and that was far too clumsy/big to me. I sold it, and kept my attack 3. Attack 3 is best ergonomic stick I have put my hands on.

You will definitly enjoy it if you have such a big hand like mine!!
I do not know about the X45 but the X52 is just wonderfull. The best thing about it is the large throttle. You can easily hoover or land or whatever! you also have lots of buttons for almost anything you may need.

If anyone who wants to buy it is in doubt then go to any store like Best Buy and try to feel it. you wont get disappointed.
