Let's play some BF2! Of course if you guys want to. I should be done with what i am doing in 2 hours. If you guys want to join me, just reply to this thread. We have 2 servers, one running custom maps, one ranked server with stock maps (gulf of oman+wake OR mashtuur, sharqi, karkand), pick whichever you want, i'll set up the server. The server IPs are in my sig. The first server is the ranked one, the second one is the custom maps.

Don't just look at the post, reply so i know who will be playing:)

I wonder what the ping would be like? I just noticed the servers are located in Israel maybe that's why they are always empty? Seems like a strange location for the TBF2 ranked server, with predominately either UK or USA members.

Any reason you chose to have them hosted in Israel out of curiosity? I might jump on to check what ping I would get but I bet it would be terrible for me being from Oz.

EDIT: Well I actually ping better to your ranked server than ours 183ms vs 196ms never would have thought that.

yaaa its all about location, untill you make is so you can get information to travel like instantly

I must have said this before,my bad. The servers are located in California, it's a mistake in the server profile. I live in Texas and i get 20-25 ping.

Aha that's why. I ping better to the west coast from Oz, ours is in Seattle. We use to have one in Cali before this one.

Do you know how to change that? I have ftp and BF2CC access to the server and i did try to find the corresponding setting for that in BF2CC but i couldn't find anything.

Contact Game-Monitor, and be like " Umm yeah, The location on my server, is well very wrong, anyway can you change it? " or something like that


btw- im lovin the custom map in your sig now, I loved that one almost as much as El al or Midway

I can change it to whatever people want, karkand, oman, special forces maps, custom maps, whatever. I just haven't played BF2 for a long time with good people (real teamwork).
