Ok I've posted this question in other forums (non BF2 specific) and I've gotten all kinds of answers. Im still completely confused
. If you guys can't give me a definitive answer I give up  .
I've been thinking about having some guys over, 6 to 10 and having a LAN party. Part of that LAN party would consist of connecting through my Comcast cable internet ISP and joining some online BF2 servers. Here are my concerns.
- Can more than one player even connect to an online server if we are all using the same IP address/connection? I was told in another forum that online servers will only let one connection in for each IP address.
- If we all can connect to one server. How many can connect before we run into lag or high pings. Using Comcast my download is 6Megs and upload is 768K.
Think that covers it. If you can think of any other issues please let me know.
Thanks!
