A Weird Dot

i just got a 17" monitor and for some reason ONLY WHEN I DIE, there is a black dot in the middle of the screen. it's not a dead pixel, its a game graphic... anyone have this? i also had to exchange this monitor for a different reason and this one has it as well so it's no the monitor. perhaps its the video card? prolly not cuz the dot isnt there when i play regularly and look at the sky... Check it out tell me what u think.

if you can screenshot it its your graphics card not your monitor btw

I have 1 little dark pixel in the middle of my monitor only when I die as well. Do you have an ATI Card.

I think u'r a cheater....That's the UAV plane...very far of corse... and U already have the patch...give it to me!!!!!!

Just kidding....Now I have that same prob once in a while, the good news is that, this happens only in a few servers with pings >than 150ms...hope it helps....

Heh.

I have it too. as well as my friends who have the game. I simply assumed it was the "Apex" of the sky rendering. If you watch artillery fall, it all seems to eminate fro that spot.

I am more likely to think it is a design of the game (cant tell you why) and not a video card or computer problem

That is really annoying, it happens for everybody. Who knows how it got there and what purpose it serves. Maybe it indicates your "dead crosshair," like the exact direction your eyes are looking...

i got a bfg gefore 7800 GTX... um maybe it depends on the monitor size and on the resolution that you set for the game?

I never took into account the resolution or screen size.
I play it in 1024x768 on a 20in LCD. For those that dont see it... it is only when looking straight up. if I am not looking up.. I dont see it either.
