HELP! I set the wrong Resolution BLANK screen

I accidently set the wrong resolution and my LCD moniter is saying "OVER RANGE" with a BLANK screen i hear sound but no video. i reinstalled the game but its still set at the wrong resolution. is there ANY way i can change it?

- CHANGING DISPLAY MODE
Occasionally on some video cards you may be allowed to set the
display mode to one not supported by your computer. This will result
in a black screen being shown. To remedy this use the Windows
Explorer to find and delete the directory:

\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\

This will reset your game to the default settings. You can
now start the game, retrieve or create a new profile, and re-adjust
the settings using the Menu as normal.

yeah you can do that but there is also a .con file that will have the resolution in it and you can just edit that file and keep all your key controls, if you have any saved
