    Patch.ERR plz help

    Ive been trying to get my BF2 to work with patches... The game crashes on Start up... I looked in my Battlefield 2 folder and noticed a new file "Patch.ERR" I looked it up and its and error log... I dont know how to open it and view it... Has anyone else had this problem? Plz help!!!!!!

      Start Menu -> run -> notepad and press OK, drag patch.err into open notepad window.

                      This means that at some stage you changed the BF2.exe file and the patch doesn't like what it's finding.

                      This usually means that you applied a ***** crack which of course stops you from ever patching the game in the future unless the crack renamed the old bf2.exe file for you.

                          I got it fixed... I re installed the BF2 error is gone...but everything else is still there... Is this the reason for my crashing when I start the game???

                                  Ok, I bought Special Forces to maybe fix this problem... Still get the same crap in the Error log.... WTF IS GOING ON HERE!!!... BF2 IS REFUSING TO COMPLY!!
