you need Karkand 64 with no time limit...
about 50 people, 64 makes the tickets roll a bit fast...
constantly rotate to squads in the action(check UAV's)...
and most importantly:

DO NOT toss bags randomly everywhere, instead wait safely near a person engaging in combat to lose about half their health before dropping the bag directly onto them.

Stand with your health bag out, but far enough away so it doesn't heal them automatically!!!

If you drop bags all over someone, he will consume the bag after each bullet that hits him...which effectively translates into 10 bags of health for one person. Not what we want...

Waiting until they take some good damage ensures that you will get your point either right then, or after his next few hits, 2nd health bag.

Also, after getting 2 health points off a single person, move to another player or come back to him in about a minute if possible.

In other words, instead of being the awesome medic you are trying to be, you must be more malevolent...by watching your teammates bleed a little before stepping in to help :)

I got it on the first try...after 10 attempts at finding the perfect server.

Actually, I have the legion of merit ribbon, which i believe is revive because i got it after a revive.

Who said anything about that ribbon? LOL
and to get that ribbon you have to just get 50 team points ina round after the requirements are met.

I dunno rombaft, but soon I will have my 750 heals in and then ill give it a try. I actually got 70+ heals in (in one night) a few days ago.

Yeah it is pretty difficult to get 25 heals...just hit up a 64 server with 32 max players...

Dont suppose you know any of those in Europe do you?

no, legion of merit ribon is just about getting teamwork points (53 I think) , if these are revives, heals, flag capes, kill assists, ... doesn't matter .

I need 25 heals for the expert healing badge, just can't get it, aparently I am not an expert on healing here

Yeah, sometimes you just get plain lucky and get caught in some intense firefight. Im just realizing now the full potential of the medic class.

Anyway is there any chance to get it in a mostly empty karkand map, I was playing on karkand last night with only 12 or so people in it id say it lasted about 90 minutes, although it was just a tank war so probably wouldnt have got it, was best tank fighting ive been in so far in the game though :).

I think the most heals i have got in a full map is only 18, the more i try it and ruin my stats the more ****ed off i get and the more impossible it seems

This is just so hard , many of the medic bags you trow the guys just don't pick them up even if they are like totaly unhealthy .

Maps like karkand, very nice, many infantry, but many many medics out there trowing the map full of medic bags.

I don't care much for badges so I haven't tried for the gold medal of medicine yet.
However, my tip to get heals is to grab a buggy (not car, speed kills), race around the battlefield like a maniac and play ambulance by racing up to wounded guys and tell them to get in. As soon as they get in, continue to drive for your life.
If you keep driving erratically and keep out of main flight corridors, bombers won't give much of a **** about you. Especially if you rather drive around where not the main mass of your infantry is (bomb/arty prone) and try and avoid tanks proactively.
Why do all of the above? Because that way you will live longer and you can always get to where most wounding goes on quickly.

PS: Bf2 totally needs a proper white ambulance with ultra-annoying siren, paramedics in bright red uniforms and armed with an instagib weapon named Geneva Convention.

Those 10 Healing Points i had to make drove me mad !

For some reason all potential "heal needers" just die.
or theyre very low on health, yell for medics all the time, but RUN AWAY FROM YOU !... and even more strange is, those guys (preferably assaults) ALWAYS have more sprint then you !.. they just run away and you lose them.

or those guys, that miracly dodge ALL your medpacks you dropped for them (which are ready of course, cuz medpacks need somekind of 3 second activation time). they just jump around like crazy, while taking a flag for example, altho NO enemy is nearby (see UAV) and then they just DIE from their own jump height.
And those cool guys who notice that you dropped them a medpack, they stand on it, pick it up, they thank you, but youll NEVER get a healing point for this.

I had to cheat to get my 10th healing point, in the last 3 tickets of the round, i had to shoot a mate with a pistol a few times, just to heal him afterwards.
But, for some reason , i had ~40 revives ...

It helps if you have a clan, or simply follow one around. Find some guys in a squad and stick with them, chances are they will use your medic bags if you show them you are there to support them.
