hmm yeah that is what they said when 1.12 was suppose to be release before Special Forces. And that did not happen....

There is actually no reason to believe that the patch and Euro Forces will coencide (that is most definitely spelled wrong...).

With SF, the new weapons were unlocks that carried over to vanilla, so a patch was neccesary to incorporate the new material. From what I have heard about Euro Force, the new content will not make any appearance in the original whatsoever, so there would be no need to release the patch and booster pack together. Doesnt mean that the patch wont be released with booster pack, but there is no reason for it to be other than coincidence or convenience, unlike SF expansion.

Hmm do you have a link to this? I really doubt it iwll be release before the Booster pack, Euro Forces, remember 1.12 was release when Special Forces was release.

can we shed some light here? any officialy statements from EA? if not, its just BS is my opinion.

also, will the euro force have stuff like grappling hooks, that sort of thing from SF? night maps?

If they pull the same trick they did with special forces and include content from the booster pack in original BF2 (i.e. new unlocks which can be used by Euro Force players in regular BF2) then yes, there will be a patch before the release of the booster pack. AFAIK however, no one knows if that will be the case so we'll just have to wait and see.

Well now yes the 1.2 will be release before the Booster Pack, Euro Forces, because now that Euro Forces has now been delayed. So it will not be released after Feb 8th.
