Crash to Desktop AFTER PATCHING!
I need some help before i go on a killing spree... I have Battlefield 2, it has the 1.02 patch pre intalled in it... I try updating it... I grab the 1.03 patch... Install it... Try to run the game... Screen goes black as if it was loading the EA logo and Dice Logo... No..It just crashes back to the desktop. I uninstall the game, re install... Play the game with no patches its fine... I grab the new 280 Mb 1.12 patch... Says it has all former patches in it... I give it a try... I get a error BF2CDKeyCheck.exe Ecountered a problem and has to close.... Im fuming... It said the patch was complete.. I try the game ..Still crashing back to desktop!!! I have updated all my drivers for everything... Re installed the game so many times i am getting disgusted with even looking at my computer, but im so desperate for BF2 i keep trying.... THe game works perfectly fine with no patches installed... Im not going to be stuck on 1.02...and whats the point of buying Special Forces if its happening for that game too!!??
