well i made a server that runs from my pc and when i ask my friend to join he tells me that he had a failed to connect to my server but it works for me so i was wondering if that could be my firewall?

You can try forwarding ports to LAN IP of the PC that is hosting the game.
Just find your router model here:
..and then select 'Battlefield 2' from the list of games/applications and it'll show you exactly how, step-by-step.Comment
