Hey guys, i got a 6600, gig of ram and a 2.6 processor .. now this hasnt been happening untill probably a day or 2 ago. It also appears to only happen when im flying Jets. Everything will be fine but then ill fly to high or such and then WHAM the entire ground turns blue .. almost like the sky and my bf2 is super slow mode. basically I cant do poop but quit bf2 and restart. I went from the highest resolution 1240 to 800x600 when this happened. Any Ideas?

your rig is almost exactly like mine, except i have a 6600 GT.
did you update your drivers? how long ago?
when i put the 81.95 drivers,it APPEARS to run just as well or better at first. however, after a time of playing or a few days, it soon deteroriates in frames per second.
eventually, it got to complete bs. it was going super laggy at the start of a game, textures were disappearing and my screen was flashing black before crashing and going all weird, graphics related bugs that ive never seen before.
i rolled back drivers to 78.01 and its never happened since, BF2 runs likea charm.Comment
