You destroy the uav object, the commander puts another. You destroy the trailer, get strategic points, and then the commander can't place any more UAVs.

My point being, a commander puts a UAV down it gets destroyed in a matter of seconds, he has to wait until it recharges to put another down, and when he does it gets destroyed in a matter of seconds... repeat as necessary. You get one strategic point for destroying the UAV Trailer, whoo hoo! , but you also are generally having to sneak into the main spawn of the enemy, which can cost you several lives if it is defended (generally by the commander himself, who can see you coming from his scan). Even if you do get the chance to destroy the UAV Trailer it gets repaired by a crate in a couple seconds. I just don't think people will care as much about taking it out since it will be easier to take it down when they need to.

commander has to wait a long time to place another UAV if his first UAV was shot down quickly.
It was written by a dev, that if say it takes 4 minutes total to run, and re launch a UAV in current patch, then it will still take you 4 minutes with this newer patch.

No, it'll just fade into existance above the deploy point, and blow up when the scan is finished. I understand that the commander can redeploy the UAV as long as there's still time left on the scan, it just means that a commander will have to be a little more observant on the status of the UAV.

I doubt it will get shot down very often but atlest you'll now have a visual clue that your position is being compromised, mostly if you're a sniper.

In reality, the UAV flies so high in the air that it is virtualy impossible to shoot down.

And also in reality it doesn't have magical components on-board that allow it to view anyone/anything within a certain radius of it, no matter where they are or what is between them and the UAV be it just air or feet of concrete. :p

i think it will be interesting...I wonder if you will get points for blowing it out of the air....

also one thing I will be ticked off at is if its like at a really low altitude..Imagine this, you are flying a chopper, and then pull a turn or something and BOOM...you died cause you crashed into this stupid UAV thing hovering the air only a 100 ft off the ground lol...I'd laugh at it but it's still be annoying

You can't.....yet. :p It's a feature coming up in the next patch.

I guess it works like this, the UAV trailer is just a transimission station, so if you blow it UP, the UAV is still flying but signal can be transimited to the team. So if the trailer gets fixed quickly, the transimision will be restored, until the UAV needs a refill. However if the UAV is blown up in the air, can you send another UAV right away, or you have to wait till it filled.

I'd imagine the UAV's will either have an unlimited amount of fuel now or alot more, seen as they have allowed more than one UAV to be in the air at once now. So i see it as a better option to take out the trailer rather than run around chasing the UAV's.
