i know where ur coming from when i hit 10k. i thought i would never get to 20k but i did but thats when i lost intrest so i didnt play for a week and i came back and played again and suddenly im interested again. im trying diff maps now to peak my intrest u dont get as many points as say karkand but its a change of pace. just stick with it.

Set yourself goals. Ribbons/badges are the best. Need that transpot time up? [going for the road kills is so much fun]. Just [usefully] use a jeep when ya clap ya eyes on it. It will also ease possable hang ups with bases being empty of APC/tanks.

I'm not in it for the unlock since i play with one kit all the time. Because of this i tend to lose intrest in the game.

You have basically answered the question for yourself by typing those two sentences. You say that you are losing interest because you do not want to work towards getting any new unlocks. If you tried using all of the kits I think you would find yourself having a lot of fun again even without thinking about new ranks.

Have you tried the sniper kit? I've been playing it a lot lately and it is like a whole new game. Finding good spots to snipe from and coming up with better places to set up claymores is a nice change from driving armor or being up close in infantry fights.

Thanks for the replies guys. Guess i knew the answers already. Just ignored them. It is so easy to stick with a kit you know all the way. Feels all warm and protected.

Defenately gonna try the different kits a bit more and see if it helps. Got the hours you need for the veteran assault combat badge. This will be my next goal from now on.

i feel like the ranking has warped me...now when i play in the demo (occasionally) i do a lot more tking without a second thought

same thing with me i hit the 8000 rank and the next is 20000 i like the unlocks and those but i also like ranks as you say. i now play with different classes and try to get veteran badges, thats what i do to stay intrested

No doubt. BF42 was sweet because everyone played to beat the other team, not pad their stats.

I still play only on ranked servers because the score, stats, ranks, unlocks are nice to get after awhile, but I don't really worry about them. I get them when I get them .... they are just gravy too an already enjoyable game.

There is nothing better than getting on a server where people are actually playing the game as it was intended. That makes for the best fights.

Basically, play the game. The stats and everything will come in their own time.

lets not forget because there where no stats there was tons more TK ing going on in BF1942

i hit the 20k mark a couple weeks ago, now i have to double what ive earned this whole time and then add a fat 10k on top of that

i doubt ill ever get it

Super easy pal...start a new profile and define as your objective the rank: Gunnery Seargent...lol

Not everybody can play 24h a day like some of these morons...Don't play for badges/Rank nor Unlocks...it will drive U Crazy!! Just play for the knife Kill's on Ranked Servers when u'r depressed so everyone can see that you don't give a Tiny S**t for u'r Kill/Death Ratio...Works for me...

Result: U gonna have to listen those 5 yold ladies braggi'n-"oh!!!! I got more kill's than u....I'm better than U...definatly better than U....I'm Uber this, Uber That".....

People complain about getting 12,000 points, did you ever play before 1.03? If you saw a Staff sergent, or even just a sergent, you knew he was a good player, not this sgt major crap.

If you only play support, man I'd love to have you play with us. We all hate the weapon, but would love a good refill every once in a while! hehehe

Either way, as previously mentioned, don't play too much, randomize when you play, and as for looking for other things to be happy about when playin, I was never big on rank, I just want all the new weapons...except support gunner of course!

It doesnt take to long for me i gain a rank every day just about. i started my new file about 2 weeks ago and i am already master sargent
