The Hotel at the Hotel-flag at Mashtuur City. Impossible to get up there without a chopper. If you've been there once, you don't wanna be anywhere else ^^ It's perfect.
Two sniping points for you to try on karkand, Both are on the east rd. both are to do with the balconies, one you need a nice commander who will drop a supply box for u to use to get to it. the second nice easy jump. Ist one is across from the hotel, nice to take out all those peeps that think they can come down the east rd, or scope from the top of the hill by their american base. second, take out those coming up east rd or take out those peeps who think they are safe on top of the square. also the commander cant see them in zoom mode unless he uses The uav or they move so their legs stick out.
On the super jump building next to the hotel on Karkand, no one ever seems to check their (means i can throw grenades at enemies capping the flag as well).
Thnat true but i had a 4:1 ratio on getting on that roof. so you must be lucky to get over there.
I like to take the Blackwawk on dragon valley and go to the green vegitation patch thats above the flag closest to the china back base, you cant see it unless you know someones there, cant get there unless your flying, and if your there you have a view at like 4 tours which many newb snipers think are safe. lol.....newbs
mine would hapht to be the hardest place to get to on karkand.
like before the superjump place is good but not the best, i go to there and i get the comander to drop a suply crate right next to the wall on the south side of there and i jump up on to the next lvl and it has a beutiful view of the square and of the 2nd flag. when at the second flag look up at the buildings and find the one with the red letter like a billboard, thats where ime robubly going to be.
no1 ever looks there cos they dont think its possubul to get up there, but i asure you that it is.
karkand. on the laddered house next to the market CP. Only with MEC, when the USMC wants to take the square from the hotel. they wont expect you. try hiding behind the few bushes. Loads of kills this way.
In SF the Belltower in Ghosttown is the best place to rack up some kills. In Vanilla its probably Sharqi (construction site crane) or Masthuur (any of the solarpanel roofs).
I dont get the point of people going all wild about Karkand. The fog is killing any long distance shot over 200 meters. You just cannt see past that distance.
I prefer maps like Daqing Oilfields or Kubra Dam where you can actually get 350+ meter kills in. Or when I want to rack up some kills Ghosttown or Devil's Perch.
In and around the dam on Kubra Dam, there are a lot of good places to hide and snipe, plus you are protected from artillery as long as you don't go on top of the dam.
My favorite sniping position is <1m behind any enemy spawn point. just kidding!
My favorite know, true sniping spot has to be the crane at the construction yard on Oman. I got pretty good at hitting guys spawning at the middle beach flags and I can also get the guys sneaking around the hotel wall. The trick that I use is to climb all the way up and go out to the edge of the platform. Then I go prone near those little wheels that are on either side. It makes you really hard to see and you can shoot down through the crack between the platform and the side bar. You can even hit guys hiding in the corner of the dumpster next to the flag.
My favorite lesser known, pseudo sniper spot is in Karkand. I got this off of the secrets of battlefield website so if you don't understand what I am saying, go there and check it out. What you do is grab the vod from the hotel and drive it (as fast as possible so that you get there before the M1A2) up to the burning car at the enterance to the city. Pull up next to the building with the awning (just north of the burning car) then jump on the vod. From the vod, jump to the awning and then to the roof. You will do better up here with a PKM than a M24 because the people will be coming constantly. From this building you can cover four of the five enterences to the city and the entire western hill side. Very few people look up there because there is no ladder and if they do you have a few places to take cover. Just be on the look out for grenades. Get a medic to come with you and maybe an AT and you can focre everyone on the US side to cram into the eastern walkway.

Where? I looked on Dragon Valley near the Chinese airfield base and couldn't find anything that looked like a "vegetation patch which you can't reach unless you're flying" sort of thing.. I also looked on Daqing Oilfields and FuShe Pass, nope didn't find anything... Anyone know where it is?

i think that one might be found only in the imagination of silly little rumor-starters.......i would like to see a screenshot..
People hate it but sniping at airfields and heli pads with m95. Oman and dragonvally i think r easiest. I love it when peoplewhine like stuck pigs over it. Throwing some clays around is a good idea in some obvious spots before you post up is always good way to get a couple of extra kills in to. I have cappes off 17+ before they even find me.
