The supported OS, in all of the system requirements I read, is XP. Does this mean that BF2 will not run on 2000 Pro at all or...? I would really hate to have to scrounge up a copy of Xp and install an OS. I have a GeForce fx5500 agp 8x 128 Mb card, which is not listed in the supported video cards list, will this card run Bf2? I have been looking into some new cards, I would like one with 256 Mb agp 8x but that is around $200. The ATI Radeon x700 pro is around the right price range, has 256mb, is available agp 8x, and has updated features I'm looking for but only the (PCIE) is listed as supported wil the agp slot type run Bf2?
