version 1.12 is way to big

Hi,
I wanted to update my battlefield 2 game to version 1.12 which is the latest, then I downloaded the update from eagames, but when I come and start the update it says I have low space in my C drive, it requires 3000mg(3gig) but I have 3.12gig. First, is it normal that it takes that much space from my C???? I have a D drive that still has 60gig free space, is it possible to update it there and the 3gig would be used there?? What can I do???

BF2 needs at least 3GB of free space on the C-disk for the swapfile and other date (ie loading maps, geom...) Its possible that the update takes more then 120 mb and so have less space for the swapfile. I suggest that you uninstall EVERYTHING. and reinstall everything on the D drive. (you may have some problems installing the updates)

What I mean by the 3 gig space is not bf2, my bf2 is installed in the D drive, but its the upadte itself that needs 3gig of space and I only have 3.12 gig in my C drive right now, this is crazy... I mean I never saw anything like it, a update that is as big as a game. Cant i update the game in the D drive?? I am sure theirs a way to fix this isnt it?

No. That same problem happened to me and there is only 1 way that i know to fix of the problem. Sadly it is probably somethign you dont want to do.... The only was i know how to fix it is by reformatting yoru harddrive and than just making a single large drive instead of multiple partitions. Salad made a big post that explains why all of this happens but i dont know where to find the post.
Sorry to break the news but that is the only way to do it.Unless of course you can delete 1 gigs worth of memory from your C so it would have 4 gigs and that should definately work.

I found a solution punisher, its called partition magic. I dont need to format my computer to make more space in the C drive. I use this program and it will take some space fomr the D drive to pu it into the C drive. So if any1 has the same problem as me well here's a slotuion.

hmm, the only thing i can suggest is that you buy a new harddrive of 80+GB

well the program you can find it in google, I suggest u download the full program version 8.05. You can even download it at bittorent. it worked for me fine.
