Re: Dose any one know of just a knife ranked server?
That is considered 'stat padding' and if you ever do find such a server, be prepared to have your stats wiped.
Why are people so HORNY to get their expert knife badge anyway?
Whenever I see somebody with expert knife, all I can think of is 'what a stat padding loser'...even though there are most folks who have this one legit...it's just the cynic in me
Re: Dose any one know of just a knife ranked server?
They do exist, however they're not ranked. If just for the fun, you should give it at try - but it wont gain you any badges.
If you can find a ranked server running Knife only, I wouldn't play there - there's been many cases where people have had their stats reset by EA for playing on these "illegal" servers.

Hey, don't generalize! I got my Expert Knife just the other day, and I've really worked for it! I think 1/3rd of my Karkand-time is spent trying to get this badge :p

Thanks Mate didnt know if i did find one and played on it my rank would be wiped out and restated that would p@@s me off. Dont surpose any one has any knife tips. I need the basic badge to porgress though the next rank.
Re: Dose any one know of just a knife ranked server?
The basic is very easy, I can get it almost every round and not suffer a bad K/D. just take the opportunities that you get every game that you don't think about. sniper? Knife em, support guy prone not paying attention? knife em. enemy runs right past you and didn't see you? knife em. You just have to change the way you view situations and you'll find that there's ample opportunities every round.
Re: Dose any one know of just a knife ranked server?
Talus is right. People don't always expect the enemy to just run up to you and Karkland is the perfect place to hide around corners and knife people in the back when the walk past.

Hmm I might have some tips for you :)
The best map I found for getting plenty of knife kills is, obviously, Karkand. I suppose Iron Gate is a good alternative too, if you own SF.
I found playing as MEC on Karkand, and "camping" in the corridors south of the Hotel flag to be the best tactic. There are often groups of enemies here, and you can be sure that half of them have the noob tube out. Therefore, if you manage to jump in-between a pack of enemies, they might not shoot you (as they'll teamkill that way).
Join a 64-slot server with less than 10 people on it. You see, the 64-map games starts when 10 players are active on the server. By starting with a small player base, you'll have a much longer round than if the server was full.
Use the UAV constantly. Always keep your eyes peeled on the mini-map.
Some people recommends using the UAV, and sneaking behind the enemy this way. I found that this tactic wasted too much time, so I just confronted them directly and with great success.
ALWAYS keep your knife out, you never know when an enemy is gonna pop up around a corner.
You need to move like crazy. Jump, prone, strafe, basically do whatever you can to make yourself harder to hit. I found that jumping towards the enemy, then going prone in the air (dolphin diving) and stabbing him in the crotch was the best general tactic. I generally never dolphin dive or bunnyjump, as I think it's lame - however, I did make an exception with regards to this badge
DO NOT THINK ABOUT YOUR STATS! It doesn't matter if you get a k/d score of say 4-30 here, it's all about the badge. Expect to die a lot, and end up with a terrible score.
That's all from the top of my head, visit the Tips & Tricks forums above for more Knife tips and threads. Good luck! :)
Re: Dose any one know of just a knife ranked server?
I found getting that the basic and veteran knife badge were easy to get and I think I was shy of like 4 kills for the expert on my first try.
What I did was join a wake server. Be any side doesn't really matter. Make sure US has 2 flags casue if they have only one a ****load of people will be there and everywhere. Walk down the sides. Get behind enemy lines and voila. Most are to busy reviving, supplying, shooting to check behind them. I also found being a medic is helpfull as you can heal yourself when you do get caught. Also sniper isn't that bad as he has camo so if you know where to hide its lethal. Also if your being shot from a distance don't sprint at them and try to knife them. Learnt that from experiance.
Re: Dose any one know of just a knife ranked server?
When I knife it's kind of delayed. I could aim down on someone lying prone and knife them and it feels like it takes two swings to register. I don't see how anyone can get that many knifing kills in a game for expert. Most people don't even get that many kills using their guns. Unless maybe you play on 64 player Karkand with like 10 people who don't use any vehicles and are braindead.
