    Hi all

    Hey everyone!

I'm a new guy here in forums. (and in BF2 too)
I don't even have BF2 yet, but I'm gonna buy it when I get my new PC. (few weeks maybe)

Then, I have a question for you guys: Does BF2 work with these:
    -Intel Celeron D341 processor
    -1024 MB RAM Memory
    -160GB Hard drive (or something)
    -nVidia GeForce 6200SE TC 64/256
    -Over 3.0 GHz

I hope I will have fun here in forums, and with you guys out there!

    Hi Ramirez.

People with your gfx card have been known to play BF2 but not with any fancy graphics, instead with everything on LOW. The manual states that you need at least a 6600 to play BF2.

Is it still possible to change the card?

Mm, no. I buy a new processor. Can't change the card.
But... I can always buy a new one!

Exactly...the 6200 SE will give you about the safe performance as an FX5700 which is on the lowest end of the minimum requirements for BF2.

Replace it later when you can...but it'll certainly do with graphics settings on low and maybe a couple on medium.

You should be fine playing the game with a 6200, as mine played okay with a 5700 LE. Everything has to be on low settings though which does not effect the gameplaybut I have just installed a 6800GS and the game looks so much better with everything on high! I can not believe the detail, it really makes lots of difference. I should think a 6600GT would at least be enough for this and they can be had for £100, money well spent if you are going to put the hours in.

              Thanks dude!

And hell yeah, I must update that driver card. (or whatever it's called)

Any idea how expensive they are? In €uros...? And I know, I should use Google, and I will. Just wondering...

                lOl!

So, it looks like BF2 works with that card, but with LOW settings. I want quality! I NEED quality!

So, I gotta buy the better card. What version would be the best?

                :EDIT:

So, everything else is just fine, expect the driver/graphics card...?

the quality depends on your budget, obviosly the faster the card the more expensive. I do not think you should pay too much though unless your processor (CPU) is up to it, as this can be rate limiting. £100 is about 150 Euro, you should be able to buy some thing good for that? Check the hardware forum here, they gave me some really good advice, just outline your budget in your post with the details of your computer. :)
