the AK 47 is an insane gun and I actually use it quite often, despite having the unlocks.
the spec ops' QBZ is a wonderful gun, easily the best standard carbine.
The norinco is much better than the Saiga.
the Type 88 is same as the SVD, but the T88's crosshair sights make it even easier for beginners to score headshots than the SVD's chevron sights.
The J-10 and the Sukhoi are great planes.
Overall, I feel that all armies are pretty well balanced when it somes to small arms, apart from the annoying pistol ironsights, but once you grow accustomed to them it's no problem.

Theie SMG is so funny... It looks like it's been built from pieces scavanged from a scrapheap by the Polish Resistance sometime in 1944.Even a Sten seems to be high-tech compared to it

Still, the Type 88 is the best semi-auto sniper rifle because it has by far the best scope(those lines are really thin) and the other weapons rock. Not to mention the Close Encounters of the Third Kind-style J-10 which turns sharper than a hummingbird. Although I hate the chinese APC: it looks like a box and has an awful rate of fire.

It looks like a toy car, especially with the oversized wheels.

On the other hand the NJ2046 (chinese heavy car) rules supreme, because it has a certain eastern-bloc charm.

Man, some of you guys need to learn how to shoot before you criticize the games weapons. The only real bad Chinese weapon is the SMG because of no semi auto. And if you think that looks like crap, look back to WW2 and the grease gun which the US was using. Looks don't matter when it comes to weapons.

what I have always wondered is for one, why does the chinese army in the game use the Ak-47. yea I know they had lots of them in their arsonel and crap, but...EA should have made it so they use the most modern guns in their arsonel, while the MEC should be using the AK-47. I'm not trying to be offensive here, but I just don't recall there being that many modern ak-101 assault rifles in the middle east...yet you see plenty of ak-47's lol. Just would have been more real (I know its just a game, just saying) and the ak-101 should have been left for the russian speznatz in SF.

I agree. In fact I have complained many times that Ak-47 is no longer in use with any units of the PLA, and the superior Type-81 is the standard issue rifle.
Type 85 SMG is not necessarily a bad gun, but it is really slow to deploy because the folding stock animation plays every time u whip out ur gun, and in CQC that can kill you.
The Chinese APC fires slower, but its shells are more effective against armor. The LAV-25 is losing its AoE attack in the next patch so the anti infantry uses won't be that different.

the J-10 and SU-30 are the only reasons I play Daqing. Which is probably one of my beefs with this game, they have an amazing plane like the SU-30 yet it only graces us in one level?

Best plane in the game is actually the F35 VTOL, not the J10

Where is this coming from? The AK-47 is every bit as accurate and even a bit more powerful than the AK-101.



I've had great success with the Type-88 before. Not all of us need a M24 to do our sniping with.



The AT SMGs in general are very weak.



QBZ-97 = Best default carbine

I completely concur. The Chinese sniper rifle is actually really good, I can get so many kills with it cause there's practically no delay between each shot.

Maybe this guy is just a n00b and coincidentially gets pwnt while on the Chinese team... Mebbe?

The only bad Chinese hand gun is the AT, the rest are pretty good imo. They have decent tanks, apcs, uber jets, and an ok attack heli, whats not to like?

the AK47 is, without question the best assault rifle at close quarters because of its heavier round. But at medium and long ranges, the M16 is much better. and at close range, any experienced player can win with the M16.

- The PLA carbine is the best standard carbine unless you hate iron sights
- The sniper is better than the SVD since the only difference is a better scope
- The LMG is the worst out of all the armies but it isn't much worse than USMC
- The AK-47 is as good as the AK-101 but has the best GL (quickest reload)
- The shotgun is the same as the USMC
- The SMG is the same as the MP5

That pretty much covers it. Not sure why anyone would think that was a crap weapon selection.

the AK 47 is probably my favourite gun in the game, I much prefer it to the yank one
