Good WEATHER in the game .

Actualy I prefer maps where is weather is nice , lots of sun, no or almost no clouds .

This maybe sounds stupid, but I find it to feel nicer , for SF owners, if you play those rusian maps, it realy isn't so nice because it's clouded, and the colours are more grey and stuff , maps like karkand, oman, warlord, ..... have nice weather, colours are nicer, ...

it's not only in BF2 I have this, also in other games, I like my maps or levels in the bright sun (clap clap for far cry)

Other people also feel this way ??

No.
The best map (Daqing) also has the most comfortable weather/sky, and it looks gorgeous.

On the other hand, Dragon Valley with it's near-white sky and texture-gamma through the roof is horrible for that exact reason (camo? aim? forget about it).

I agree. I love playing Wake and Gulf cause the map's atmosphere and feeling is delightful and clear and sunny with mild rance of bomb rain.

Yeah I like Oman and Dalian because of the more 'pleasant' atmosphere. Daqing, on the other hand, I find to be depressing. Cloudy, muddy, etc. Just doesn't much appeal to me.

I know what you mean, the water for instance looks a lot better when its blue than being a murky dirty colour as well and I can't stand the fog.

Well I find the skydome in Daqing much more appealing than the blue of Oman or Wake. I also kinda like the muddy color of the water there, but then again I find the looks of most maps very delightful. I also just like the lightning, I personally don't perceive it as depressing.
Dragon Valley is beautiful, but like I said earlier, the gameplay drawbacks are quite severe.
I personally find Oman and Wake to be rather ugly maps (just like most arab maps), save for the water on Wake, which looks really...drinkworthy.
I really love the hazy athmosphere on Songhua, the sunset on Kubra, and the sky on Zatar complements the look and feel of the map really well, too.

haha I live in Seattle, we just had 27 stait days of rain. I was playing Gulf of the Omen all month cause it has sun!!

I wish they would remove the godam dust from Strike at Karkand. Its so depressing, the yellow tone everywhere. Give it some sun, so someone can actually snipe further then 100 yards away.

Ya, fog and dust messes me up when i'm shooting, that's why i don't snipe much.

I have to agree. I just like the feeling of playing in a nice environment and seeing the nice sunset behind your enemys head and blasting it. :)
but i really do rather a nice background to play in rather than a dark gloomy map that makes you feel all gloomy inside.lol

After watching movies like "Saving Private Ryan," you grow to love those kind of maps. War isn't supposed to be a cheerful event.

I love wake for the weather, and I love the gameplay on karkand which is why I whore it so much. All the SF maps feel like you're actually in a war zone that has been that way for awhile and it feels gloomy.

This map needs more Dusk maps, I likw maps like Wake too, I hate the gloomy effect in the MEC maps, I'd loved to see a clear Karkand, like Mashturr, except clear and Sunny, maybe with a few lakes..
