the only reason i am going to be buying that pack is to get the sniper and AT unlock. We have 100 times better maps than their booster maps in the map packs.

The unlocks are in the patch and are free. You don't need to buy the booster packs for the guns.

More excited about the free patch. New maps are great, but if after two or three rounds I never want to play them again it would be a complete waste of money and time (downloading). Also, I still ultimately would prefer the booster packs on CD/DVD if I choose to purchase them.

as for both booster's well when I see them in a shop Ill buy them, take them home, install, play for little while, then make a space on my shelf next to Road to Rome and Secert Weapons...

I so freaking excited for two reasons, the new weapons, but most importantly the freaking GREAT WALL OF CHINA map. That map is going to be so freaking awsome. I already have a image of how it will look in my head,where the flags will be. Comeon whats going to be more fun then creating chaos on historic monument.

When will it be out to buy?

I bought SF, but I liked the vanilla BF2 more than the addon, so I'm pretty happy about the new maps. I think $10 is a fair price for the content the booster packs will provide. The guys that are whining about it and bring great examples how Blizzard for example gives away new content for free are forgetting one thing: WoW has a monthly price which has to be paid to play online. If we would give EA 10 bucks a month, even this community would get free stuff to play with. If you compare other games like Warcraft 3, you will have to account that it is much easier to make a new map for that. Maps for 64 people in a FPS are much more time intensive to do, so another ten bucks is okay, considering you get new weapons also. One or two new maps outside the boosters would hae been nice, too. But I can't force them to do that. I agree that there are great mods for BF2 in the making, but they are not still out, so I'm pretty excited to get the booster pack. At least the first

im not that excited, bcuz alot of british ppl r ****ed bcuz britain is part of Europe side, and im scared ther gunna kill every1 coz they spazzing

I think that a few unlocks and a few maps for £6 issnt bad at all..

so im looking forward to it i like the SF maps and the unlocks too.

Patch > Booster pack

More worried about the booster packs than excited, dont wanna split the community up too much .... otherwise leagues/ ladders are gonna get too spread out with clans playing different versions. Suckkkkssssss, stick these booster packs into the patch(es) free as a thank you for sticking with us while we **** about fixing bugs and stopping exploits which make the game poor instead of excellent like it should be
