Whenever I try to run BF2 (i'm using the demo because I want to try it out first) it says "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found" I've reinstalled over and over again and I did click yes when it asked me to install dx9. Any help?

Try going into c:\windows\system32\ and put the file there.
You can get it here, it is same version and size as I have in my dir.
