    SF extras in vanilla BF2?

i think it'd be great to be able to use teargas, grappling hooks, ziplines, etc. in the original B2 the same as in the expansion. what do you guys think?

You would have to adapt all the statics, too much glitching buildings in vanilla.

won't happen , vanilla maps aren't designed for things like graple hooks and stuff, as said asbove there would be tons of glitches

You can use the Flashbangs with the F2000 in the Assault Kit.

Yah, it would be cool to use the Climbing gear on the city maps.

more reason for DICE to fix all its stuff.

I personaly like the game enough to not whine about it.

i dont mean to whine. it IS a sweet game, and i think my overall productivity at school has dropped 20% or more because of it. im just saying that there are lots of things that DICE could easily do to make it that much better.

Or possibly port over the maps from Vanilla to SF servers.

                    not really
adding those things is just meaningless clutter
few would use them and they aren't used on a live real life battlefield anyway by front line troops - too much weight

also, taking a direct shot in the face by a M95 would kill in real life, regardless of head armor. and there's no way an AT soldier would be able to carry 6 SRAWs at one time. i think we've already established that although they say they try to make the game as realistic as possible, they cant, because it wouldnt be as playable if it was totally realistic.

Using SF stuff in BF2 is stupid(also the flashbang)
Not everyone can use it, so not fair in my opnion.

Use the weapons everyone can use in that game.

who said the extras would have to be unlocked? it could be just like in SF, an item added to everyone's kit by default.
