so it wont start up all of a sudden. the BF2 screen comes up then my monitor turns black and it takes me to my desktop after a few moments. wth.. anything i can do besides reinstalling my game? anyone have this problem before?

Simmilar problem... I can play the game fine, but after closing it and trying to reload it later, the computer hangs on the BFS splash screen. In the task manager, it shows up, but not using any CPU. I can't close it in task manager. Occasionally, after several minutes, the game simply crashes to desktop. I cannot shutdown the compure when the splashscreen is up, forcing me to hit reset. -
