Uhm, Sniper bullets go through?

Ive noticed with the unlock sniper rifle, sometimes ive got a perfect shot and shoot and the bullet just doesnt hit them or anything. O.o

No, im not missing, im not that thick :p A few of my friends have noticed this too. Anyone else get this or are we actually missing? :laugh:

Yeah with the bolt rifles it will be a dead on hit on their body but it just wont do any damage. ( It took 3 or so more shots for the guy to die )

Very annoying its as if there are only certain body areas that get effected or something. Everything in the few pixels where the crosshair meets should injure anything behind it.

did you see a poof of smoke?

Because if you do then it's related to lag or just bad netcode.

Have noticed the same thing on many occasions. The 1.2 patch will hopefully fix this.

only a few times most of the time i hit em at they drop but i dont snipe to much

I beleive it has to do with lag in the server. I have knifed people before up to 3 times before it killed them, and every time I stabbed them a poof a smoke came out and everything, yet no kill. This can majorly affect the sniper rifles as they have long range shots...so...you are hitting them, but the shot does not register is what's happening. It's very annoying.

It is lag.

To test it play single player and you'll notice every shot you make does hit it's intended target.
