New Officer Ranks

has anyone heard of or seen the point req's for the new ranks, I read that there are 10 new ranks, but some people saying there are 13...
But since these are all the ranks in the USMC:

Sheesh, the jump in points needed is already really big. I can't even imagine those other ranks being possible.

keep in mind warrant officer is considered it's own offshoot of the traditional rank structure. Think of it as a blend of officer and enlisted.

maybe they will do the lower the points jobby... after u get to 8k u have to wait till 20k to get ur next unlock then to 50k to get ur last...

I'm sure they will lower the reqs for the ranks...again...like they did last time. I am sure that the lower ranks, through master/1st sgt will remain the same, but they will lower the gap between master/1st and master gunnery/sgt major and lower 2nd lt and so forth. If they kept the system the way it was now...ha...it would be a long time before we had a 4 star general in our ranks (for those out there that think there will be a 5 star general, only the US navy, army, and air force has such a rank, the marines only go up to 4 stars)

Wow, those are ugly. On topic though, the new ranks have already been discovered, as well as their look in game. Not only that, but I made a post about it over 2 months ago.

it would take me 5 years of playing to get to general, by then BFII will be old news and people will hve moved on to somthing elese.

Actualy when you look at these ranks, it will probebaly be .

Sergeant major stays at 50.000 points
then for each 25.000 points yoiu gain a rank (fits perfectly till sec Lt.)

then probably from sec Lt it will go for each 50.000 points to about 500.000 points then you are brigadier general , grom then on it will be things like 250.000 points or something,

Maybe you can choose which path to take warrant, or officier up to a certain rank then it just goes back into one path again. Or some are depending on awards or stats.

I really think the last rank or two should determin on how good the player is. As when playing with Blazin.uk he wasnt all that special, nor are his stats/awards. Where as some others are really amazing.

Some freshman guy who gets lucke and had very nice K/D ratio get the best rank or what ???

Then someone who loves playing some class and is extremely good with it, he doesn't get a high rank because he doesn't have all badges ??

The leaderboards, ow well, like that blazin UK , he is just some freak .

I think it perfectly normal the more you play, the higher your rank is, simple as that , in real life some dumbass 60 year old general can also be less competent then some 30 year old sergeant, in real life the manager of the company is a 50 year old guy who is maybe much less competent then the 30 year old co worker , that is life man

Quite true. 5-star Navy is a Fleet Admiral, 5-star Army is General of the Army, not sure what the wing-wiper is called. Also, the US Army had one 6-star general during WW1; his rank was called General of the Armies.
