yet you can. Kinda makes getting expert badges pointless in BF2, when with another 4 kills you can get the expert SF badge at the same time. [in SF of course]
Can you still get the BF2 Awards, in special forces?
Like, Veteran First Aid, or Meritorious Unit Ribbon in Special forces? Or only in the original?
Well, i am not so sure about the ribbons, but I know from experience that you can for sure get the badges. I was playing SF for once (rarely play it since I dont care for many of the maps) and I guess the server didn't see my rank, so I was a private. I reearned my basic engineer, and then two kills later earned my engineer specialist or whatever the SF version of it is. Same goes for the bf2 sniper badge. So you can get bf2 awards in bf2: SF, but I cannot say ribbons since I dont know, havent played it enough. Badges yes though! :p
