Re: Fraps Question
The only way is to set the recorded video size to half screen. If that dosen't help either turn down your settings in bf2 or buy a better computer. -

Re: Fraps Question
Or don't use Fraps.

Won't give you lag at all, in fact the video it will make will be able to go 30fps no matter what even with High GFX with AA etc. no matter what your computer specs are.Comment

Re: Fraps Question
Wouldn't you still need to play on a server that has battlerecorder enabled? With fraps, It lags no matter what cause it drops your framerate alot cause its rendering while your playing. CPU takes a hit. I don't understand why Dice couldn't have added a simple client side recording tool that can be watched later like ummmm Most Games Have.Originally posted by NeoRicenOr don't use Fraps.

Re: Fraps Question
Yes you would need a demo, however making a movie using first person isnt such a good idea. So if you have a demo the use Battlelauncher for sure otherwise you're stuck with slow 1st person video (likely with Gun and HUD visible).Comment

Re: Fraps Question
Ya unless you play with the transparency off. I've tried to download a game I played on a server but most of the time you get an error saying it can't download. I wonder if its cause the server doesn't have an ftp to upload them too. When i make my unranked server, I put battlerecorder on but if I don't specify an address to upload them too, then no one can download it. I wish battlerecorder had a first person view.Originally posted by NeoRicenYes you would need a demo, however making a movie using first person isnt such a good idea.
