Major Lag Warlord

For some reason im getting major frame rate drops on this map for no
reason its almost like a memory leak id be playing fine suddenly the game
would crawl at 20fps within about a few walking distances its ok again
id go back to where i was and its fine. This was happening every so often
not just that the game really goes laggy when using the slide rope sliding
from one building to another and its jerky as hell.

Battlefield 2 vanilla is perfect, this is the only map where im getting an
overall problem

i lagg on this map 2. Its never fun to have lagfests. Thats wut this map provides.

The zip line is always jerky for me on any map. Warlord is fine for me. I have dynamic lighting and shadows turned off. Nobody hides in the shadows from me LOL.

The only map that is lagging big for me is the well known now for his lag is the gator....

I decided to turn off lightning and everything is nice and smooth
looks ok too, thanks

I had this problem but I turned down my general settings to medium except the resolution which i kept at "1024*768" now the problem is fixed :)

I'm on the bottom rung as far as graphics cards are concerned, but i only really lag on the lag master itself, iron gator.

I tried the lighting setting... not worth playing if it looks like that. Makes my eyes bleed :cry:

I noted that whenever there is concentration of players, or artillary, things start to slow down. It is suck, because at that moment, I should pick up a lot of kills; however, I couldn't aim properly due to lag.

This map can be very frustrating because of the lag. I never quite figured out what was going wrong on my old machine. I did a lot of looking around in this forum for answers, and it seemed like a lot of people that have the 6800GT OC from BFG (the AGP variety) have trouble running this map and Iron Gator. That was the video card I used to have along with an Athlon 64 3400+ and 1 GB of RAM. Eventually I just decided to turn my dynamic light and shadows completely off and turn a couple of other things down to medium. I put my draw distance down to about 85%. (That actually made a lot of difference).

With the specs I had, I should have had zero problems running this game, but that was not the case. I did NOT get the machine in my sig specifically because I wanted to run this game better, but that had a little to do with it because it's been my favorite game ever since it came out. I know it's hard to get yourself to turn settings down when you have all the "recommended system requirements" in your machine, but that's just what you have to do. It's a total resource hog of a game.

I havn't noticed any problems with this map.

I am well past the "stop and admire the scenery" I wasnt fps and playability over "my these graphics kick ass, but damn this stuttering"
