NoobTube wont be nerfed. Only better.

I use the so called "noobtube". I love the weapon, personally. I got to thinking, it seems most of the noobtuber haters, are really laughing at how its gonna be nerfed.

As a noob tube user, i cant wait for the patch. Why?

1.) No more suicides by my own shot. Hey. Im guilty of shooting up close and personal, another person. Not because ima noob, but because an enemy jumped up around the corner in my face. Mostly scared, or just the fact i want to kill this person, i pull the trigger. Boom. He dies. I die. I wont have to worry about this no more. Saaaaaaaaaaaweet.

2.) Bouncing Nades Within A Certain Proximity.
Oh yeaaaaaaaaah. Cant wait to have fun with this Nerf. I've always wanted to be able to lob a nade around a corner, or into some area where a squad is hanging out without actually being in their view. As in the game of POOL, i foresee some really nice creative shots. Should be lots of fun. :)

    Cool.
    Nerf On.

lol i agree, the arming distance is much better, its better to have one death then one kill and a suicide and it its very annoying when that happens (suicide)

In response really #1 is all people consider noobtubing and it is getting nerfed. So no more people standing 2m away and blowing you up with a nade yay. If it happens occasionally fine but I get killed by noob tubes as much as anything. As for bounding nades I do it already. I pull out a hand grenade and throw it around a corner, it's AMAZING how many kills you get since no one expects it at all. I agree, lobbing one out of a gun will just make it that much more deadly, no more camping right behind a corner for hours on end. All in all I'm excited. In reality who in their right min would walk around with their grenade attachment ready and pop one at someone 5 feet away? Talk about suicide. Like using an Infernal in MC imo...

EDIT: hehe I don't get owned by televisions, spelling mistake :p

In a way I think you are right. It will be like playing pool with the nade launcher. Should make for some interesting kills. In fact I can see myself going for the harder kill just for enjoyment by bouncing it off a wall 1st. Should make for some good laughs.

I still don't agree with how they did it. It should have had the radius of effect increased to be the same as a grenade as the only change then say if you fire it 5 feet away you could end up dying too, plus with no jump fire, you woun't be able to survive it which is what mostly everyone complained about.

Clearly you have never played any WWII FPS games or you would have already discovered this.

fact is, the noob tube won't be used anymore like it was, you run around with the thing, run around corner, enemy is there, you fire, nade bounces away, you get shot .

Also don't forget the splash damage is decreased, in your face noob tuber.

AND , BECAUSE YOU SAY YOU KILL YOURSELF USING THE NOOB TUBE MEANS YOU ARE THE WURST KIND OF NOOB TUBERS AROUND, ARSHOLE

Well the lost of blast radius can be good like if you miss him he won't die. And you contradict you right here. You said that since the blast radius is smaller, it will mean that since you tube up close and personal, you won't die by your own nade. Well their is an arming time for the nade so if you shoot up close, it won't go off.

Hey guys get a grip.. A fact is they are doing these things in the patch to make the game more balanced and more enjoyable.. not to put a certain group of players in misery, or to make a certain weapon useless..

I'm happy that a certified Noobtoober (yes, i hate(d) them too ) finds something constructive to say about this "nerf", rather than spamming the forums with whiny posts about how they should've left it the way it was..

If this "nerf" somehow changes te way i'll feel about GLs, it will propably make me just less embarrassed to use them.. I think i'll be using more assault from now on.

At this points its prudent to have people observe that a GL nade is much smaller than a hand grenade.

Thanks for the info MrBenis .. We'll be ...ummm ... observing

What's even better is that now you actually have time to observe the GL nade coz it wont necessarily detonate on impact w00t :O

Really, I don't think of this as a nerf. I'd call it a tweak.
Actually, I'd call it closer to proper implementation.

I'm looking forward to being able to use the GL guilt-free!

Never mind. I just read they will bounce if fired in a certain proximity. Does that mean they will still detonate on impact at range?

It will be possible to noob tube people but more difficult. As long as the GL fires like the Teargas in SF with reduced damage, I'm fine with it.

You shouldnt have guilt when using your noob. Unless you like to noob yourself. If thats the case, then be very guilty, cos its that usage that gave noobtubers a bad name.
